About Cozify

Cozify was born out of a shared struggle that many college students face: how to make a sterile dorm room feel like home without breaking the bank.

It all started during a hackathon in our first year of college. As freshmen, we were all dealing with the challenge of decorating our dorm rooms on tight budgets. We spent hours scrolling through Pinterest and Instagram, trying to find affordable decor that matched our personal styles.

That's when we had our eureka moment: what if we could use AI to help people visualize how different decor items would look in their space before purchasing? And what if that same technology could recommend items within their budget?

We worked tirelessly through the 48-hour hackathon, fueled by energy drinks and a shared vision. By the end, we had a rough prototype of what would eventually become Cozify. We won an award for our idea and, more importantly, realized that existing competitors didn't have the AI-powered features we were developing. We knew our idea could actually work and fill a real gap in the market.

Today, Cozify is helping people transform their living spaces with AI-powered recommendations. What started as a solution to our own problem is growing into a platform that makes interior design accessible to everyone, regardless of budget or design experience.
